Our congregation united for a special tefillah on Israel Independence Day eve. It was a difficult day for the country, with wildfires burning nearby (some of us hosted families who had to be evacuated from their homes in close by yishuvim). But we joined together as a community to express our gratefulness to Hashem for the building of the State of Israel, and the beginning of redemption (hatchaltah d’geulah).
קהילתנו התאחדה לתפילה מיוחדת בערב יום העצמאות. זה היה יום קשה למדינה, עם שריפות בקרבת מקום (חלקנו אירחנו משפחות שנאלצו להתפנות מבתיהם בישובים קרובים). אך חברנו יחד כקהילה כדי להביע את תודתנו לה׳ על הקמת מדינת ישראל, ראשית שמחת גאולתנו.
